Beirut, – Mr. Khalil Abboud, Member of the Board of the Lebanese-Korean Friendship Association; and vice-student affairs at USEK, has been Nominated As Goodwill Ambassador by The Tipperary Peace Convention in Ireland in a private ceremony at USEK campus-Kaslik. on Wednesday , November 2nd, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. at the Jean Hawa Auditorium – Bldg.H – Holy Spirit University of Kaslik’ main campus. The official presentation to Mr. Abboud will take place in Tipperary Town in April 2012, with the exact date to be confirmed later in the New Year
The Tipperary Peace Convention is an Irish internationally well renowned NGO known for its endeavours and promotion of culture and peace. The Tipperary Peace annual Award was founded in 1984 with the first recipient being the late Seán McBride, one of the founders of Amnesty International
